For 40 years, Ashoka has found exceptional Changemakers from around the world and guided them to grow unexpected ideas into transformative social progress. Ashoka’s network enables over 4,000 social entrepreneurs to learn from one other while creating faster, more impactful large-scale change. Venture and Fellowship, the core of Ashoka’s work, identifies leading social entrepreneurs with transformative ideas and provides them with the support and community they need to thrive.

Ashoka invites the Rotary community to be part of this movement to build an Everyone a Changemaker world. By partnering with Ashoka, the Rotary family gains access to a wide range of experts in social entrepreneurship and change-making who are equally vested in bringing about support and resources to improve the lives of their communities. Rotary’s areas of focus align closely with Ashoka’s vision and various programs to create solutions to local challenges through social entrepreneurship.

Attend the upcoming 2020 Ashoka Changemaker Summit, held virtually on 17-19 November. The Changemaker Summit is Ashoka’s largest online gathering. It connects its vast community of social innovators and leaders from business and philanthropy to celebrate inspiring solutions, to learn, and to collaborate on strategies for systemic social change.

The Summit is an ideal opportunity for Rotary members to:

• Celebrate 70+ system-changing social innovators and young Changemakers from around the world recently included into the Ashoka network
• Connect with key drivers of social innovation world-wide: Use Ashoka’s platform’s artificial intelligence to get in touch with the most inspiring social entrepreneurs and change leaders in your field of interest
• Discover the most transformative solutions to social issues and learn how to build more resilient societies through the power of social innovation
• Collaborate and co-create with experts, influencers and other change leaders that you will meet at the many different sessions in the agenda

This year’s theme is Rediscovering Certainty. What universal truths can we hold on to when everything is changing? Ashoka believes that certainty is not obsolete but overlooked and invite you to begin, together with their community, a journey towards certainty driven by solutions to the most pressing social issues of our time.
