Did you know that in Ecuador it is possible to have breakfast in the mountains, watch the sunset on the coast, and sleep under the stars of the Amazon all in one day? This is amazing, right? That’s why people named Ecuador, “the country of the 4 worlds.” This year, Ecuador opens its doors to tell you a different story, a story of magic, dreams, hope, and change. From 12-14 November, District 4400’s virtual project fair will take you to discover the heart of Ecuador.
Together, Rotaractors, Rotarians, and the communities of Ecuador will use technology to present a new version of our projects fair that will let you learn more about our country. It has not been easy, but with patience and teamwork, we will connect directly with more than 670 Rotary members around the world to promote the wonderful projects that can change the live of Ecuadorians.
The District 4400 Project Fair gives you the opportunity to know Ecuador by showing you its diverse culture, taking you on a virtual tour of its magical towns, and getting a close view of its communities through a single click.
We email all of our visitors a welcome package in which they can access information about Ecuador and statistics from the communities where Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Interactors work together as agents of change every day. The email also includes information about how participate and join the Telegram app chat group. If you haven’t registered and received your welcome package yet, you can also view the welcome package here.
Surprise yourself with the warmth of Ecuadorians, immerse yourself in the charm of its flora and fauna, and accept the challenge of serving to change lives.
With the help of volunteers committed to change around the world, we will make a difference for thousands of people in Ecuador. You can view the gallery of projects looking for support on our website: https://projectsfair-rotaryecuador.org. There are many needs, but I know that the volunteering is bigger than all our problems.
Join the live Zoom sessions 12-14 November starting at 10:00 GMT-5 (Quito, Ecuador time) with the link https://zoom.us/j/4400202122 and the password: oro.
We will see you soon at the District 4400 Project Fair to do what we do best in Rotary: serve the world with heart and passion. Are you ready for it?

Please send this earlier next year. Maybe you did. But it’s too late for people to make plans now. We put it in our district newsletter last year. Jerry Summerhays, Utah Rotary.

Thanks for the feedback, Jerry! You can view a list of upcoming project fairs on My Rotary here: https://my.rotary.org/en/exchange-ideas/project-fairs. Select “Upcoming fairs” to see what project fairs are taking place this Rotary year. This page is updated frequently, so hopefully it will be a helpful resource for your district!
