Increase your humanitarian impact and reach through Rotary Action Groups

Through subject-matter expertise, resources, and connections they provide to clubs and districts, Rotary Action Groups increase Rotary’s service impact and reach around the world. Action Groups also offer members and participants opportunities to get involved in service beyond their local community, make professional and personal connections globally, and enhance overall Rotary experience.

Rotary Action Groups supported 1,642 projects (club, district, multi-district projects combined) in 2018-19.
Action Groups raised $890,000 USD for Rotarian-lead projects in 2018-19.
Not only Rotarians but Rotaractors and Peace Fellows can serve in leadership roles and start new Action Groups.
1 in 3 Action Groups are chaired by a woman.
16% of global grant projects seek partners through a Rotary Action Group.
37% of Rotary Action Group participants are prospective Rotary members (individuals who submitted a membership inquiry to RI within the past 6 months).
